The Elite Performance Troupe is made up of our most dedicated and passionate dancers, who are given the opportunity to train at a higher level and showcase their talents on stage and beyond.
Being part of the troupe is about more than just performance – it’s about teamwork, commitment, and pushing yourself to be the very best you can be. Members take part in additional training, work on challenging choreography and represent SO Dance Academy at events and showcases throughout the year.
For dancers who are ready to take their skills to the next level, the Elite Performance Troupe offers an exciting chance to shine, gain invaluable performance experience and make unforgettable memories with fellow dancers who share the same drive and love for dance.
Opportunties to shine!
Our Junior and Senior Elite Performance Troupes are proud to represent SO Dance Academy at a wide range of community and national events.
They’ve already showcased their talent on some of the UK’s most exciting stages – including the world-renowned Sadler’s Wells Theatre, the O2 Arena, and major theme parks like Alton Towers and Thorpe Park.
The troupes are also regular performers with Chance to Dance and the Collective Movement and in 2023 they lit up the stage at the Super Weekender in Birmingham’s NEC. Looking ahead, our Senior Troupe will step into the spotlight at the CYD? Super Convention main stage in October 2025.
And the excitement doesn’t stop there – both troupes are set to experience the performance trip of a lifetime at Disneyland Paris in Summer 2026!
Our Senior Troupe dancers often go on to pursue their passion at prestigious dance colleges. We couldn’t be prouder of everything our dancers have achieved and the incredible opportunities that lie ahead!
